Alexander McQueen : originality, creativity & talent

As I promised each Sunday I'll post some of the spectacular creations of a fashion designer that has hit my attention. This week I chose Alexander McQueen. His creativity is extraordinary, I love it ! As you know I seek for original pieces and his concepts are always out of the box .

                                     

I'm so sorry but I just picked a few but there are so many other pieces that I'd love to show you. I adore the extravaganza in this looks, they are absolutly stunning and if I were able I'd put them in a museum because they are art pieces


This headpiece is magical. I love that draping and that lace fabric gives the opportunity to see the face and gives the illusion that she might be sleeping . You know I'm a huge fan of contrasts but I agree on this total white look. It reminds me of a mix between a fairy and a warrior princess.

This outfit is beyond this planet beautiful. I adore every single piece in it . It is cosmic, avanguard, chic, elegant in the same time. The feather in the bottom of the dress balance the shape of that majestic cape. Chossing a white blonde model was a wise choice as the outfit pops out even more thaks to her lighter skin







                                                                                 

 I could not resist not sharing this amazing silver armour. It reminds me of some japanese armours that I've seen in museums but this one is far better. This is the best example of how history and fashion can blend together. I love those silver squares with a red stone in the middle. Such a great piece. Covering the whole face leaving only space for the eyes is a wow factor









This make up is awesome, I know you may think that it's
only a chalk white face with a huge big
glossy lip on it. I must admit that it's true but I love it, it gives me tragedy and beauty. Put that much on face is necessary as the whole outfit is black and it create a huge contrast.

Be ready to be hugged

We all love to hug fluffy plushies but what if we can turn into fluffy creatures ? I found this amazing pink fluffy jacket that I absolutly want ! You won't feel lonely anymore because everyone would love to hug you. It would be better to wear nothing underneath but if you really want you can opt for a white shirt slightly open on the front.
I think that this skin pink fur would be awesome on a tanned skin or a darker one as it create contrast; while I'd opt for a darker colour fur for example blue or black for a lighter skin.

 I also found these adorable fluffy bags and shoes. The bags are super awesome and I bet everyone would agree when I say that no one could resist to them.
On the other hand  wearing these cotton candy shoes will seem to walk on clouds.
Well there's only one thing left to say : be ready to be hugged !

Be ready, cuz I'm back !

Hey dear readers, it's been a while since I posted my last post, almost 1 year !!! But I'm back. So many things have happened and I've been sooo busy. In October I'll be attending the Accademia di Costume e Moda here in Rome, can't wait to study fashion design ! Well what else can I tell you ? This year has been awesome, I turned 18, took part to two MUNs one in the Netherlands and one in Rome, won best delegate in Security Council as the Delegate of France, this has been my last high school  year and I've been to Berlin. Summer is such a lovely season and the good occasion to show your body after working it out the whole year. But what should we wear ? This is a perfect outfit for the evening, as it is sleeve-less it'll show your muscled arms. Don't choose to wear bright- shocking colours; opt for pale colours like pinks, beige, light blues ...

I love this accessorize sooo much, it's gorgeous ! This necklace has the shape of the Crown of Thorns of Jesus, however it is well made and so chic that can be combine with any type of shirts

While I was flipping through the pages of a magazine, I saw this nice jacket. I was astonished by the beautiful colours used and the way they made it. It isn't simply sewn but if you run your fingers on it you can sense the relief made from small rods. The pattern of this jacket reminds me an african ethnic theme, however in a modern way.

This jacket is ideal for the summer and you can combine it with white trousers or with a pair of shorts of the same colour. For feet is ideal a pair of sandals or moccasins.
